What we collect when you visit or write to us, what we do with it, and how to tell us to stop. It is short, because this site does very little.
Effective 17 August 2026
This site, novuspressworks.com, is operated by Novus Press Works, LLC, a publishing division of Novus Operandi Media, LLC, in Nashville, Tennessee. It is the publisher behind the imprints Eald Talu House, Trewe Talu House and Kinder Talu House.
The short version. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, carries no advertising trackers, and sells nothing. The only personal information we hold is what you type into one of our two forms and send to us. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
We do not sell books on this site, so we never ask for and never receive payment details.
Our host keeps standard server logs — the IP address the request came from, the browser and device type, which pages were requested and when. When you submit one of the forms, the submission is stored together with your IP address, your browser's user-agent string and the page you came from. That is a spam-prevention measure and a record of the enquiry; it is not used to build a profile of you.
We do not run any of this ourselves. These companies process data on our behalf, and each has its own privacy policy:
There is no Google Analytics on this site, no Meta Pixel, and no advertising or measurement tag of any kind.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed above, and only so they can do the job we hired them for.
There is no mailing list on this site. Writing to us does not subscribe you to anything, and the submission form says so where you fill it in. The R.J. Halbert reader newsletter is a separate list run from rjhalbert.com and you only join it by asking to.
This site sets none. Not necessary ones, not analytics ones, not advertising ones.
Wherever you live, you may ask us to:
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, these are your rights under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR. If you are in California, they are your rights under the CCPA/CPRA, which also gives you the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do neither. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email admin@novuspressworks.com. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, so that nobody else can make a request in your name.
A submission enquiry is kept while we are considering it and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we know what we have already seen and can recognise a resubmission. General correspondence is kept as long as it is useful to the matter it concerns. You can ask us to delete either at any time.
Following a link away from here — to rjhalbert.com, to a retailer, or to our Instagram — takes you somewhere with its own privacy policy and its own cookies. This policy covers only novuspressworks.com.
We publish books for children, but this site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
If we change it, the effective date at the top of this page changes with it.
